time to update
Baaaad girl – its been a while again – so what have we been doing…well we have had my sons birthday which equalled a sleepover for 10 x 7 yr old boys – aaaargh never again – lol.
It was as you can see Stars Wars themed and with my trusty Cricut I made lots of window decorations and we had a large poster too – lots of balloons.
They had the Star Wars Dvd, Wallace and Grommitt and Speed Racer. Pizza, Popocorn, Sweets and Drinks. I have to admit at 930 the clock in there somehow wound itself forward half an hour = oops naughty mummy – at 10 I said look at the time – everyone start getting ready for bed!!!!! I said lights out about half an hour later – they had all brought little torches and I thought they would play with them for about half hour – WRONG – at half past midnight (or should I say midnight real time) I went in and said enough is enough and split them into different rooms – finally some sleep but before 6 the next morning – wow – they were in full swing again – Needless to say Sunday was spent mainly having a duvet day!! Shame I cant put the photos on here but without speaking to all the Mums I cant – but they had a good time Annway I have been running around with work etc etc but have managed to do a bit of scrapping here we go…….

Time to update
Things have been so hectic lately
I am sorry I haven’t updated for a
while – mental note – must try harder!!!
The weekend before last – the whole of the Indigo Mill team got together at Stephs house – we had an absolutely fantastic time – it went so quick it was unbelieveable. Can’t wait to do it again – anyway here is some of what I did……
Here is my favourite layout that I have ever done and I’m usually so self-critical but this just seemed to come together so well with the kit and I played with the picture in photoshop – hmm could quite get into this black and white photo mallarchy
and here’s a couple of piccies of us

CLOCKING ON!
How often do you get gorgeous paper for little boys layouts – well I got some fantastic stuff from Steph – really sweet – the colours are funky as well as chunky – you know me I don’t do thin wafty papers- the papers are double sided and have such things as chugga chugga choo choo trains on and rockets and roar dinosaurs – the whole range is brilliant – I will be doing some more with these papers shortly but for now – I have altered a cheapie clock from Instore bought for £1.99 – played around with my cricut and these gorge papers and hey presto….. – here you go

Hello world!
!Hellllooooooooo – Anybody there???? If so come on in – make yerself comfy whilst I pop the kettle on for a brew, one sugar or two and do you fancy a slice of chocolate cake – yummy scrummy in my tummy!!!
Anyway as I was saying Hellooo – suppose I had better introduce myself I am Elaine aka on the boards as danemi1 – I am a wife to 1 – mom to 2 and self confessed scrapaholic. This wonderful hobby led me to meet a great girl called Steph – she runs Indigo Mill – fantastic online stash shop and retreat organiser extrordinaire. My friend Carol and I went to the first retreat she had organised in Sept this year and wow what a great time we had – we met a load of really great girls and wow could they craft – their work was and is fantastic – so totally in awe of them all.
In particular Rosie aka freycob and Claire aka Silver Custard, ever since we have returned from our weekend we have been getting to know each other more chatting away into the wee hours on the good old tinternet – have even had a videocall – wow have you tried that – it is such fun.
Anyway I was absolutely jawdroppingly amazed when Steph asked me along with Rosie, Claire and a lovely lady called Dee(who I am going to meet in January) to be on her design team – wowser. How delighted was I and then terrified what if I do my layouts and Steph thinks they are awful aagh – why are we always so critical of ourselves. We all do it don’t we.
Anyway enough waffling, without further ado – here is a little taster for you – lovingly although scarily created with the fantabulous stash that Steph sent to me
I hope you enjoy and please feel free to hop on over to Stephs Shop Blog Indigo Mill – it really is wonderful
All of the above have been done using the gorgeous Crate paper fromt he Sweet Branch collection – I am very much a tactile person and it has to feel good as well as look good and wow this paper is awesome and the colours are gorgeous – to be honest I dont think I have done them justice here – the light isnt brilliant – winter evenings to blame – will try and retake photos this weekend!
Next is a layout I have made using the papers from DCWV Nursery Stack for girls – again from Stephs Shop along with some of the lush Bazzill that she sells
